Diamond Saw Blade 250mm-800mm for Granite Slab Edge Cutting
Granite edge cutting refers to one of the stone cutting process, namely, cutting
granite slabs to target sizes (to get standard granite tiles, counter tops or
others) with a diamond saw blade. The most popular sizes of edge cutting blade
are 14”/350mm and 16”/400mm diameter, these two diameter blades are the most
demanding sizes in the market.
Edge cutting saw blades are mostly used on manual edge cutting machine, bridge
saw or table saws, some are with 45 degree tiling function and some with
straight cut or profiling functions. Some cut-to-size tile cutting machine is
also popular if customers are in mass production of standard tiles, such as
30x30cm or 60x60cm granite tiles.
It is important to have a good edge cutting quality, like the high glossy
polishing from the surface, good edge cutting quality helps sell your granite
products.

There are two types of
saw blanks for choice, normal (non-silent) saw blank and
silent(sandwich, less noise). When cutting on stone, normal saw
blade sounds much louder, silent blade is sandwich structure with a
copper layer in between, this helps decreasing the noise and people
call it silent cut. The silent steel blank is mostly with U slot
while the normal saw blade is with Key Slot, it is a regular design.
